REAL estate agents are targeting the burgeoning market of Chinese investors to sell some of the Mordialloc-Chelsea area’s multi-million dollar homes.
Methods being used by local agencies include filming property promotional videos in Mandarin and hiring Mandarin and Cantonese-speaking agents and translators.

JPP Buyer Advocates director Ian James said Chinese buyers were not affecting the average property market, but were looking at multi-million dollar homes.
“We see a lot of Asian, especially South-East Asian, buyers after properties in the $3m range,” Mr James said.
“The number of them definitely wasn’t as prevalent as it was about five years ago.”
