JPP Buyer Advocates COVID – 19 (Coronavirus) business update

COVID – 19 is having an obvious effect around the world and everyone must play their part in stemming the spread of the virus.
As such, effective immediately, our office staff will be working from home where possible. This means that at many times of the day our office may be unattended. If you intend to visit our office please call in advance.
In order to maintain the integrity of people self-isolating, we will postpone all routine inspections where the tenant is still living in the property. For all properties that are vacant, our normal entry and exit inspections will be carried out.
Maintenance:
As the State and Federal governments apply stricter regulations regarding limitations of public contact, we will endeavour to manage all urgent repairs as normal. But non urgent repairs and maintenance may become difficult and will be managed on a case by case basis.
Please email or call with urgent repairs as normal, but please let us know if you are in self isolation or feeling unwell at that time.
Rent:
We expect all rents to be paid as normal, if you your payment is going to be late, please contact your property manager in a timely manner.
Owner payments:
These will be paid as per normal. Our property managers are still contactable as normal.
As we receive further information from both State and Federal governments and our peak industry body, the REIV, we will continue to update you as anything changes.
